Our Trainers

Eftyhia Arampisoglou

Eftyhia Arampisoglou has a bachelor degree in Speech Therapy since 2003. She is a postgraduate student at the University of Wales Bangor, and she is expected to receive the MSc degree in ABA in 2015. She is the General Director of Pyramid Educational Consultants in GREECE and she has been presenting the trainings of Pyramid Educational Consultants in Greece and Cyprus since 2008. She has been trained in functional behavior analysis, the implementation of positive behavioral programs (Positive Behavior Support Plans), and the Pyramid Approach to Education®, so that the programs are meaningful for both the child and its family. She works as a supervisor for PECS® programs and speech therapy sessions; she provides PECS® consultation and supervision to professionals and she has contributed significantly in the adaptation of PECS® in Greek language and culture. She has participated in the organization of PECS® intensive training programs for children, parents and professionals which have been taking place in Greece and Cyprus for the last 8 years. She has presented at conferences on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), both abroad and in Greece. She is also supervising the clinical training of undergraduates Speech Therapy students at Aegean Omiros College in Athens.

Sophia Couloura

Sophia Couloura is a certified psychologist and holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with specialization in developmental disabilities from the Long Island University at C.W. Post, USΑ, since 1999. She has an extended experience working with children with autism since 1995, practicing evidence based intervention methods in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been trained in DTT,PECS, PRT , VB, and CBT through official workshops and supervision by certified behavior analysts. She has been trained and certified from the Institute of Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) for performing a comprehensivefunctionalassessment and for developing a non-linear positive behavior support plan.

 

 She is one of the clinical directors of ENAVSMA- a center for families of children with developmental disabilities -and supervises intervention programs for children and adolescents within the autistic spectrum.  As a behavior analyst she provides consultationfor the behavior management of clients with inappropriate or challenging behaviors. She also works as a behavior therapist with children and adolescents with ASD, specializing in training social skills, play skills and functional communication.

 

Since 2001, Mrs. Coulourahas designed and presented numerous seminars, providing staff training and clinical supervision to professionals on the principles of ABA and the implementation of effective interventions that are evidenced based,in teaching learners with autism.

Eleana Logotheti

Eleana Logotheti is a certified Psychologist and holds a Master’s degree in Child Development from the University of London since 1997. She has been working with children with autism since 1998 and has extensive experience with evidence-based autism intervention methods including PECS®, DTT, and PRT. She has been trained in DTT, PECS®, PRT, and the VB model through official workshops and hands-on practice under the supervision of certified behavior analysts. She is also a certified Portage trainer. Eleana is a certified PECS® Implementer and Consultant and she provides trainings regarding PECS® and the Pyramid Approach to Education® to parents and professionals in Greece and Cyprus. Eleana has been implementing PECS® in Greece since 2003 with children with a variety of disabilities in center and home settings. She is the co-founder of ENAVSMA child centre for children with ASD and other communication disorders in Athens, Greece, providing direct intervention, therapist consultation, supervision and parent training. She is also the clinical director of the day-programme for children with ASD at ENAVSMA where PECS® is being implemented to teach functional communication within a meaningful setting for the child.

Eleni Skouri 

Eleni Skouri has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology since 2004 from the University of Miami. She is a postgraduate student at Deree College finishing her thesis project in order to receive a double MSc degree in Applied Developmental Psychology and in Counseling Psychology in 2015.  Eleni is currently the staff coordinator and senior ABA therapist of the early intervention day-program at ENAVSMA Center where she has been working since 2008.  At ENAVSMA, she also works as a senior ABA therapist in afternoon sessions within the center, at home, and in the community, for 1:1 and group sessions; trains parents on communication and play skills; trains and assesses staff; and teaches English to children with ASD.  She had also worked previously as a shadow teacher for children with ASD at the American Community Schools of Athens.  In general, she has been working with children with ASD since 2004.  Furthermore, Eleni is a certified PECS® Implementer, and has been implementing PECS® since 2007.  Finally, she co-presented with Sophia Coloura her thesis project on “The Development of a Generic Behavior Support Plan for Children with Autism” at the IABA’s 7th Invitational Conference on “Breaking Barriers with Positive Practices” in Manchester, England.
